Wheee... this year's batch of PGA-ers will be going for pioneer test next sat... good luck juniors! (although I dun think you guys come here haha) I feel kinda bad for not being able to go for any of their training sessions... cos bboy days clash with guides (Tue and Fri). Couldn't come back for guides cca sessions too :(

But anyways, I'm sure they'll do great :) PGA feels kinda distant actually... maybe it's cos so many stuff has gone by as well. But I'll always remember how we trained for pioneer... smoked up the entire school... mass sorted punk and twigs... cooked pineapple jam... crammed for interviews... slept with my comp right beside my bed ... stayed up all night to chiong proposals... did not sleep the night before camp... pushed ourselves during camp... prepared dunno how many things for Be Prepared test, only to use less than 10% of it (lol!)... etc etc. It was a taxing but memorable experience and I'll never regret going for it :)

It feels like I've sort of closed the chapter for guides although I'm still involved in YA and Project 100. I thought i did so at the end of last year, but I dunno, it still feels a bit strange sometimes >.< oh wells, I'll see how it goes :)

teehee... i think i m getting more and more into bboy haha! Today's session was fun :D Learnt part of our dance night routine... woots! Super tiring also la... and my hands hurt... but ah wells. It's always cool to see how the different steps are joined up to form a routine :)

Best thing is.... ___, ____ and ____ will be performing during dance night tooooo! HOW COOL IS THAT! Super excited can :D Boy said it's going to be a like a party... lol!

Bboy workshop

Just went for a bboy workshop. Wahh... seriously... very tiring. We had warm-ups including jumping jacks, squats while piggy-backing someone else, this jump-over-your-partner-and-then-roll-on-the-floor-below- your-partner-who-is-now-jumping-over-you thing, guys' push up with clapping (epic fail for me), etc. By the end of it, my thighs were aching liao. haha!

We did some basics like 3-step, 4-step, 6-step, CC, etc... and the pace was pretty fast 0.0 I couldn't catch up most of the time. THEN, we went on to power moves. We tried to do windmills and 90s >.< But before that, we had to learn the movements by rolling/rotating with our backs on the floor and by trying to do a handstand. Very difficult sia. I didnt manage to do it in the end (quite expectedly).

Lastly, we had a choreography, which was also pretty fast... I usually messed up the end. But it was fun la :)

The whole 3 x 1.5 hr workshop was pretty interesting although I was pretty stressed about getting the moves right and moving fast enough. I think i learnt quite a bit... like that fact that i seriously need strengthen up. haha! The moves were cool too :) And I bet I'll get very bad muscle aches tomorrow morning >.<

haha... it's been a loooonnnnggg time since I last blogged.

ORIENTATION
wah..it's like super late to blog about this man. haha! Anyways, orientation was a blast :) Had lots of fun with my OG, although we weren't very bonded at first. The activity I remember most vividly is the SLIPPERY SLOPE. Aya... my partner and i were just 1 step to the top, then my knee slipped and we both fell back into the pool below. -.- We were so close to the finishing point. Oh wells.

It's quite funny how my OG became more bonded after the orientation lol. I think we are quite a fun bunch :)

POP
Stands for Post Orientation Party, aka dance battle between the 4 faculties. I'm in ATHENA!!! I practically went for dance sessions everyday, even after I had learnt the entire dance. It's fun and sometimes we challenge each other to see who can stay the longest LOL.

On the actual day (CNY Celebrations), we were given neon green gloves to wear... eh... it looked kinda funny cos the shape is a bit off, but apparently, the effect is quite good from afar :) We didn't win, but thats alright la. I still like Athena's fac dance the most :):)

CNY
Had school celebrations on the day of POP :) We had this funfair going on and cos there were so many ppl, I could even see the some of the stalls -.- The fun part came when we had lao yu sheng with the seniors. At the end of it all, we had almost half the yu sheng out of the main plate. hehe... received a balloon too :)

Went to Party World for kbox to celebrate selina's birthday after the celebrations! Haha.. i seriously cant sing lol! Ah wells... we still had super lots of fun anyways... so much until we spilled strawberry milkshake twice >.<

This year's visiting wasn't very exciting frankly speaking. More like just going to houses and lazing about haha. But we went for senior-class visiting :) Some of them live in seriously big houses! Our entire day was occupied by eating and gambling haha! I now see why learning card games is so important.

THINKING DAY
Heh, didnt think I would still be involved in guides. But tada... went for Thinking Day Celebrations and watched our Sec 4s perform :D Well done juniors! It was also that day, I decided to join the Young Adults branch with Shin Mun. With a more defined programme this year, I think it's gonna be quite cool :D

CCA
Got into bboy under Music and Dance... haha... shocked?

DRAMAFESTE
Signed up as crew! Didn't think I would act right. Practically burnt every afternoon and sometimes even evenings on dramafeste, but it was worth it :) I met quite a few new friends too! It was quite an ambitious plan to build an set that resembled an MRT cabin, plus 3 tall concrete-slab-looking blocks. But we did it :)

Besides having to make the set, we also had to practice moving them. The ppl moving in the MRT were super cute cos they had to act happy and bubbly, bobbing up and down to the music. LOL!

Congrats to army guy for winning best supporting actor award! I think all our casts did really well :D

CLASS OUTING
dim sum buffet!!! haha we ate and ate and ate. Our table had 7 long3 of har gao. Not bad right? We also celebrated the birthdays of the Jan-Mar babies. The cake was quite tasty, but i think we were to full to enjoy it. The candles were also totally LOL. They had a bit of sparks flying out like sparklers, but it took dunno how many blows to extinguish them haha!

(The cake looks like it's exploding haha!)

SCHOOL in general
Busy! Work is starting to pile up liao... we even had a math lecture test, which has quite a heavy weightage. All I can say is... GG. Aside from that, school's still fun la... with a crazy class like mine <3
