1 year has since zoomed pass after Connect(ed)'08 happened. I remember chionging out proposals 1 week before camp cos i was in beijing for 1 month (nov). Coming back this time round for Take Flight'09 to help out really brought back many memories :)

Camp was not so physically tiring in a sense cos i wasn't really participating in all the activities. The seniors just walked around to ensure things were going on fine. and I marked testworks! like finally... haha!

The largest difference this year was doing sentry duty (more like sitting outside the classroom to play cards and chat while looking out for strangers and rain) Was really fun. It was also super fortunate it did not rain during all 3 nights! It's like a miracle... most of of the time we only get to slp in tents for the first night. And campfire was not affected by rain at all :)

For the last night, all the seniors stayed up together instead of having shifts, since batchies who were not on official duty came to the camp too :) We stayed up until like 3.45am chatting and stifling our laughs. LOL. Then the J1s and Sec 4s on official duty went to slp cos we'll be half dead on Day 4 if we didnt. The rest stayed up all the way and went home in the morning. Some of them saw a shooting star too!!! super envious!

Anyways, I think camp was fun and as seniors we were naturally zi-highing. Especially during campfire. During the pass the parcel game, kai yun and I ended up with the parcel TWICE. First time was to do 3 bimbotic poses... but we got the prize for the second time we had the parcel. it was a bangle and chocolate :) The emcees were asking us to wear it, but i heard "wave it" so i started waving it around. SO MALU. haha!

Ah wells. That's probably my last (official) guides event for my sec sch life. Sobs. I'll miss guides a lot, especially the people.. and batchies! I really dunno wat to join in jc. At least there's still xmas gathering with batchies and Mdms :D

Anyways, just wanna say...

To Sec 3s, GREAT JOB! I'm really proud of your achievements... not just organizing a successful camp with only 15 ppl, but also coming together as a batch. I think you guys have grown a lot and that' s really good :) Now that camps over, it's time to take a rest for a while (and maybe do your hw), especially since you guys have spent like 2 months planning. Take a well-deserved break ;)

To Sec 1s and 2s, it was nice seeing all of you practicing for the campfire items..haha! You guys were really brave :) I'm really glad you took in all the comments the seniors gave and put in the effort to do better and better throughout the camp :)

To seniors and batchies, xie xie da jia for all the entertainment. I think i toned up my stomach muscles trying to stifle my laughs at night. LOL!

To Mdms, thanks for everything you have done during camp and throughout my time in NYGG :)
