Chinese doc

Went to another chinese doc today and she said something (i dunno wat it is in english) shifted in my foot. so started like pressing it against the table i was lying on at diff angles, then pulled it to make give a "crack". But my ankle was kinda stiff... so cant crack... partially bcos i was a lil tensed. Anyway, she started poking it with something then did the cup-sucking thing that i think was supposed to let the blood circulate. Then another doc came in to help make my ankle "crack". It did this time... quite softly. I need to go back on mon and it will take about 2 weeks to let my ankle go back to original size.

Though injuring my ankle is totally &*%$#%$# but i am grateful for all the care shown by my friends. :) Shall look at the bright side. I mean, every few steps (or limps), a fellow council mate/cca mate/classmate/friend will see me and I ask if i m managing fine... offer to help.... say, "get well soon"... and all that. Zexin even offered to carry me when we were going for general meeting...haha. There's also louisa who did patrol duty without me... claire who helped me when i just got hurt... xiaoen for accompanying me and always brightening up my day... peiling.. for helping me to buy a sandwich after cca... joanne for like reminding me what not to do like picking twigs (haha)... an-ning for smsing me to tell me to take care....my classmates for helping me to get from the classroom to the heritage corner and then back again... miss chia who told me to take care too... another teacher who offered to send me home...and everyone else :)

I mean... it's not being the centre of attraction... but sometimes you get too caught up with all your work, you don't quite notice the numerous ppl around you. Sometimes it really takes something bad to remind you of what are actually the more important things in life. That's when you will learn to treasure them even more.
