Chinese doc

Went to another chinese doc today and she said something (i dunno wat it is in english) shifted in my foot. so started like pressing it against the table i was lying on at diff angles, then pulled it to make give a "crack". But my ankle was kinda stiff... so cant crack... partially bcos i was a lil tensed. Anyway, she started poking it with something then did the cup-sucking thing that i think was supposed to let the blood circulate. Then another doc came in to help make my ankle "crack". It did this time... quite softly. I need to go back on mon and it will take about 2 weeks to let my ankle go back to original size.

Though injuring my ankle is totally &*%$#%$# but i am grateful for all the care shown by my friends. :) Shall look at the bright side. I mean, every few steps (or limps), a fellow council mate/cca mate/classmate/friend will see me and I ask if i m managing fine... offer to help.... say, "get well soon"... and all that. Zexin even offered to carry me when we were going for general meeting...haha. There's also louisa who did patrol duty without me... claire who helped me when i just got hurt... xiaoen for accompanying me and always brightening up my day... peiling.. for helping me to buy a sandwich after cca... joanne for like reminding me what not to do like picking twigs (haha)... an-ning for smsing me to tell me to take care....my classmates for helping me to get from the classroom to the heritage corner and then back again... miss chia who told me to take care too... another teacher who offered to send me home...and everyone else :)

I mean... it's not being the centre of attraction... but sometimes you get too caught up with all your work, you don't quite notice the numerous ppl around you. Sometimes it really takes something bad to remind you of what are actually the more important things in life. That's when you will learn to treasure them even more.

My ankle is swollen like some ba4 zhang3. I took off the bandages though.... doesnt really hurt that much

Today was the first meeting of think tank.... I think I did pretty badly though.... my senior did and teacher did a lot of the talking. I think I shld have been sharper in terms of listening to the what the student leaders were saying and I tried to veer them to the right track if they were a little off point. I'll try to do better the next meeting. I hope the seniors are not too crossed though...

Then, after school, I went to touch up on the fundraising proposal with Wang Qian. We were happily chatting as we walked down the stairs... and then I missed and step and fell. I heard a pretty loud crack and I could not walk properly. It was painful but didn't feel too bad.Went to have something to eat and miss chia saw me. Well, sorta chat a lil and she got to know about my ankle... said it was definately a sprain. I didn't know before that... being the goondu I am.

Hobbled my way to the bus stop and met claire. She helped me to the bus stop before leaving :) I met Xiao en too... at the McRitchie bus stop and came with me to the chinese doctor I call auntie... knew her since i was very young. She said it was not too serious and I didnt hurt my bone. So she sprayed some medicine on and bandaged it. Gave me some pills too.

Then xiao en walked me home and i let her come in. I think she is amazed by my messiness... haha.

Yoho!

Last few weeks were rather filled with stuff to do... like council proposals. Haizz... speaking about this, I feel bad for causing my seniors to lose sleep cos the proposal my partner and I did was not good. So we were like rushing to meet the deadline... and the seniors kept vetting to make sure it was fine. Thank you seniors.

On a brighter note... guides leadership training camp :) I am in the Admin comm. I'm quite excited about this camp... cos we'll be organinsing as well as participating in this camp. We'll be going to camp christine too. More proposals to be done... but it will all be worth it :)
