Hello ppl! I m back from the boarding sch it's also my bday!

Haha. Today was pretty overwhelming for me seriously.... not exaggerating. This morning, I received my first bday wish for the day at 6.42 am from my "gor". second was at 6.48am from chinwen :) Thank you! you guys really let me start off my day really happy. Then, when I was on my way to the classrm, I saw stella and yijia walking on the corridor. When they saw me, they sorta grinned at me and yijia rushed to the toilet. Stella told me not to go into the classrm yet. At that time, I could already sense that they were trying to to do something. Then, they went back into the classrm while I took my time cos i wasnt sure whether i was allowed in yet. Then, when I went in, yimeng was the first to give me a present. Some ppl around me also wished me a happy birthday. Thank you! When I reached my seat, a silver coloured box was on my table. Inside it was my present from stella, yijia and jingwen. I was really touched by the effort they put in to actually make me a present despite our hectic and busy schedule. I took a pic of it.... shall talk about it later on. Mrs Wong also noticed the presents from them and yimeng and wished me a happy birthday. Thank u Mrs wong!

Next up was my bday lunch. my dad and mum took time off to deliver the marshmallow chocolate cake to me at school so that i did not have to run about buying the cake and thinking about how i was supposed to store it at the boarding sch. Thanks mama and papa! luv u lots. Then, when i went back to my classrm, there was already quite a crowd outside it cos i had asked my batchmates and some of my classmates to come and have the cake a few days b4. O man, thank u all for coming! When everything was ready, we all sang a bday song in EL and CL. At that moment, I really felt very happy to have so many frens around me, sharing my special day with me. Then, I made a wish. I wished that everyone, my batchmates and classmates, would spend many happy times together for as long as possible. Sounds cliche but it's true...haha. I blew out the candles and we all clapped. I decided to do all the cutting of cake and shiya helped me to get the plates ready. thx alot shiya! cuttiing each slice personally for each and everyone of them was my way of saying "thanks" i guess. I received a lot of presents and "happy birthday"s during lunch from my batchmates... thx guys.... u rock! haha... xiao en also hugged me. o man... xiao en had an ouster so she could not eat a lot of choc cake.... i gave her a giant strawberry though. She also insisted that i eat the entire sugar "card" on the cake that said, " Happy Birthday Xin Yun" by myself. haha.

During cca after my Napfa, when we had finished clearing our pit, we could sit down and eat the food. Then, chinwen said that they should sing me a bday song for me. So our 2 patrols started sing... then, the rest of the guides also sang along, including our Company leaders (CLs)and asst CLs. Calean (one of my CLs) was like smiling at me and singing. It felt really..... i dun really noe how to put it but it was a really great feeling. Thank you u all. after cca, i still received more birthday wishes... especially from sarah...haha. Calean wished me a happy bday when she gave me back my testwork that i passed..... was that my present? haha. Thx a lot everyone.

Hey! thx so much for not only making the clay figurine, but also the glass bottle decorated with blue clouds. Haha, u really paid attention to my favourite colour didn't you? thx! I really like it. The keychain was also very meaningful cos you had the other half of it and the flags joined together to form a banner saying "friends" on each side. :)

Yimeng! I received my first present for the day from u! haha. The handphone holder is really cute.... and it also looks like a cake. haha. Thank you! hope u enjoyed your big slice of cake.

haha.... i'll them safe and sound. What u all wrote.... was very nice....i dunno how to explain this... but i guess what i am trying to say is that really like them... a lot. Those words really mean a lot to me. The words on the cards were really meaningful. Like, "friendship is like a garden. the more you put into it, the more you get out of it" and "a star has 5 ends, a square has 4 ends, a triangle has 3 ends, a line has 2 ends. But friendship has no ends." Thanks also for all the things you guys wrote, wishing me a happy birthday and all the other stuff. Thank you all!

Of course, thank you "gor", chinwen, anning and auntie jean for your smses. Thank you hazel for ur email ad jeanette for your tag. Not to forget all of u who wished me a happy baday. There were so many of u....haha. Sarah....u wished me a happy bday abt 5 times! haha. Oya, thx also for the bday handshakes and bday hi-fives....thx thx. you guys really made my day.

Thank you also.... to dad, mum, jie and mei. I really like the mp4 and the water bottle. I will not lose my things (like my previous mp3) like that anymore..... at least....i'll try my very very best not to be so muddleheaded. :) Haha our celebration a wk before my actual bday was great. The ice cream cake was great, the dinner was great. yummy.... we seldom have the chance to go out like that together don't we? We shld do that more often :)

Here's a lil sth i wrote. It may not sound very good cos i did not do any editting. I didnt even try to make it rhyme, choose the right words, etc. This is wat i really feel, in its truest and purest form.
