yoho. I still dunno my interview results but i m selected along with 49 others for the leadership development module for sabbaticals. So, when the others were chionging to the com labs to opt for their choice for sabbaticals, I stayed in the classroom and did my stuff :) It was kinda funny today during geog... our last period for the day. We were practically shouting out all the answers for the worksheets all at the same time so that mr shyam would let us off earlier to opt for our choices.

CCA today was fun. The turfing and firelighting ppl worked super fast s we finished quite early. Our pancakes for the mini outdoor cooking was quite ok.... at least they look like pancakes and they taste nice :)

I m going to the boarding sch on sunday :) So i may not be able to blog that often (as if i blog very often at home...) I'll coming back on 11 may.... my birthday! But i m also having my napfa 5 items on that day.... so irritating. Anyway, i m intending to bring a CHOCOLATE cake to sch on that day to eat with my batchmates..... but i dunno how i can store it cos i'll be in the boarding sch....o well, we'll see. haha, it's not even may yet and i m thinking abt my bday already.... should be thinking about the maths ans sci common test i'll be having next week... ahh

Hello... just had the Student Council interview..... as usual, I had a LOT of filler words, especially during the questions-in-chinese-and-answer-in-chinese part. Actually, we had 2 interviews..... 1 with the teachers and 1 with the Student councilers. Surprisingly, the one with the teachers was better.... not as stressful....dunno y. Anyway.... i'll be spending time waiting fo rhte results.... hope i can get in.

i...m...a...terrible....i/c. For cooks badge, we were like.... rushing all the time for the proposal. The dishes kept changing and we had to keep meeting up until ppl dont feel like coming. In the end, on the actual day (fri, 13 april), things were pretty all right except for the rice. We had to buy cooked rice from the canteen cos I overlooked the fact that if we used rice that was just cooked for fried rice, it would not taste good and there is no time. So, Rachel, wann qin and i went to buy cooked rice during recess and lunch. When we were actually cooking, I just found out that we could not use the condiments in the home econs rm, so we had to get them in the guides rm. The worse thing was our pineapple rice.... it tasted like plain rice cos i bought too much rice.....my estimation is bad. Oh man.... i just lian2 lei4 the rest of the ppl doing pineapple rice. However, all of them were very nice.... especially peiling (for telling me it was ok that day) and kakay (for tagging on my tagboard).

When one of the sec 3s looked at the dishes, she was pretty impressed cos they looked pretty..... that's our consolation i guess. Actually, the dishes were ok except for the pineapple rice....i think i m gonna fail la. O well, at least, if i fail, i'll may be cooking again with xiao en, chinwen, linxi and soo chin cos they couldnt come that day.

footdrill

Dead tired. Had footdrill just now. Luckily, due to our thinking day pageant, we learnt a few commands earlier.... so it was more of revising rather than doing something completely new. We overshot the duration by 45 min... and june the pro managed to be the timer all the way. O well, we did the normal stuff and learnt a new command which I still cannot do well. O ya, our sec 2 squad today was like.... not a squad. Due to OM and all that, we had less than 10 ppl... so we had to join the sec 3s after a while.

Our most serious mistake is shuffling. Meiting and olivia had to keep telling us to stop shuffling. In the end, we were told to take off our boots to march in our socks. The ground was pretty hot, but we survived :) We also had problems like the 90 degree rule, locking of arms and stuff like that. Towards the end of the footdril session, my arms were aching already.... don't think i did very well.

After that, we had 10 min of song session... which was supposed to be a 1 hr session.... o well. Then came debrief. Meiting actually said we did quite ok.... until we joined the sec 3s.... meiting is nice. Anyway, sec 2s jia you!
